RICS Homebuyer Report

The full RICS HomeBuyer Report (Survey and Valuation) includes a report on the condition of the property, an open market valuation and a fire insurance figure. The reports aim is to help the client make a reasoned and informed decision on

1: whether to proceed with the purchase,

2: assess at what price it would be reasonable to purchase and

3: be clear what decisions and actions should be taken.

Our founder is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and is a member of the RiCS Valuers Registration Scheme and provides our RICS HomeBuyer (Survey and Valuation) Service personally.

This is a popular report and is can be used across a range of residential property types.

Generally an RICS Homebuyer Report would not be used for older properties and where there are obvious significant defects, or the property requires full refurbishment for example and it may not be suitable for converted or extended properties;  in these cases a Building Survey may be more appropriate; our surveyor would discuss the most suitable type of report with you.

Please read the RICS Home Surveys 'Choosing the Right Survey'  (see Fees & Forms) for more detailed information on the types of property survey do not hesitate to contact us to help you decide which report will best meet your needs.
